Located in Florence’s historic center, the 16th Century palazzo has been exquisitely  re-imagined as a modern design-driven artist residence and boutique hotel. Designed to create an experience of silence and contemplation, three levels of loft spaces become both hybrid studios for artists and comfortable rooms for hotel guests, with common spaces including the historic courtyard and lounge regularly host exhibitions, creative workshops and collaborative gatherings.

The project was born in 2016 by entrepreneur Martino di Napoli Rampolla in collaboration with Alessandro Modestino Ricciardelli. Working with architect Gianni Emiliani and interior designer and Openhouse Magazine director Andrew Trotter, the contemporary renaissance residency artfully mixes ancient frescoes with Scandinavian minimalism creating both a haven for travelers and a reflective space for artists.
